Hip Hing-Vibro's think-tank tackles household issue for the underprivileged

Hip Hing and Vibro participated in the "Big Little Things" campaign organised by Business for Social Good of Our Hong Kong Foundation. Seven colleagues from different departments formed a think-tank and were assigned to help a family living in a subdivided flat in Tai Kok Tsui to solve the problem of inadequate storage space, given one week's time.

The members visited the family on 17 August to have a better understanding about theirs living condition and needs. The tiny space made it difficult to accommodate a wardrobe for storing their clothes and belongings. To tackle this problem, our colleagues sourced affordable household products and redesigned them into a retractable closet rack. The members revisited the family on 24 August to install the rack. With the little gesture, the daily life of the beneficiary has been made a little bit easier and more comfortable.
